The Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ feasted and danced at potlatches. Potlatches were held to transfer rights and privileges, and to publically recognize accomplishments; guests would publicly witness and confirm the validity of the changes. The hosts provided goods to the guests for witnessing their potlatch. At a potlatch families shared their songs and dances that belonged to their families. Ceremonial masks were carved, often from cedar, which were used to transform the dancer into the mask.

Cedar was a main resource for the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ. It was used to carve canoes, ceremonial masks, boxes and to build housing. Cedar bark was weaved to make baskets, clothing, and mats. These items were used to store food, gear, and personal items.
